狗不理包子的创始人高贵友,原是清朝末年的一个普通小商贩,小名叫狗子,他凭借着自己的聪明才智和勤劳努力,独创了这种皮薄馅大、味道鲜美的包子。由于他的包子生意兴隆,高贵友忙得顾不上跟顾客说话,这样一来,吃包子的人都戏称他“狗子卖包子,不理人”,久而久之,人们喊顺了嘴,都叫他“狗不理”,这个名字慢慢就流传开来了。
The founder of Goubuli Buns, Gao Guiyou, was originally an ordinary small vendor at the end of the Qing Dynasty, nicknamed "Gouzi (Doggy)". With his intelligence and hard work, he created these buns with thin skin and large filling, and delicious taste. Because his bun business was booming, Gao Guiyou was too busy to talk to customers. As a result, people jokingly said that "Gouzi sells buns and ignores people". Over time, people got used to calling him "Goubuli (Doggy ignores it)", and this name gradually became popular.
